i know this might be a stupid question since the z06 has this cam, but if i was to put a 2002-2003 ls6 cam and springs in my t/a and pcm tuning, would i have a problem passing emissions in ny? and also what type of power gains could i get from this cam, mac headers, corsa catback, lid and custon tuning, which are the only mods i really want since i drive every day. any info or feedback on this would be greatly appreciated, thanks

You should have no problems passing emissions with this cam. From reading your post, I think you would have issues if you installed headers(Long Tubes).
The usual increase that I have seen with this cam in a couple of my friends cars are between 20-30RWHP.

thanks for the input, i probably could do long tubes but im worried about ground clearance as i will be lowering my car soon, i was just worried about the "sniffer" test, no one gives visual inspections in ny at least not where i go
