Aluminum to iron good or bad?
Now im lookn for a storker kit for my 01 ls1.. ive been told that the 408 iron block is the way to go but is it bad that im changing the aluminum block to an iron one? or is it not going to make a difference?

Yes if you run the same set oup on eather block they will make the same amout of power. If the LS2 block is any think like the LS1 you can not go bigger than a 4.00 bore wher in the iron block you can.

go with an ls2 block for sure go to the ls2 section there is someone selling them for 995.00 shipped. The post is titled ls2 blocks in stock. You could still spray the **** out of it if you were going to use N2o. I have never heard of anyone cracking an aluminum block on the juice your heads would lift off before the block got damaged.
