Default overheating damage?

I just got a new block (in sig) around 3 weeks/1000 miles ago. I've already changed the oil twice, but recently I discovered an overheating problem which caused the temps to rise to about 240-270 range. I finally fixed the problem (burnt out connection in flexilite) but the engine overheated 4-5 times before I could fix it. No coolant boiled out or anything, you could just hear it boiling underneath the hood. I'm just wondering if there was any possibility that I did any damage to the block at all. Car still runs/drives great like a raped ape still. Any help is much appreciated.

mine over heater pretty badly one time when i threw a belt and didn't notice.

I found the belt and has been fine every since(25K miles later) I would just compression check everything since it was a few times. Other than that these engines seem to be pretty forgiving.

Warped heads are really common when an engine is overheated.

If it's running great, and you've got your heating issue nailed down, don't go out witch hunting for a problem. You're car will tell you when she's sick, no worries.

I would'nt worry about it, heat soak alone after you shut it off can get temps close to that in certain areas anyway. If anything you could do a leakdown if your worried. Good luck.
