Default Getting rid of the EGR SES light without LS1 Edit

I know this is possible. I just don't know what resistor is needed and where it needs to go. It's done the same way you do the CAGS delete on your tranny. I want to get rid of the AIR as well as the EGR system and put on race style headers. Removing the AIR shoudn't throw any codes right? I'm doing a small cam (either the TR 224 or the Comp Cams XE-R 224 on a 112 LSA) with stock heads and think I can get away without LS1 edit. I really just want the lope of the bigger cam. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Removing the AIR system will throw a code, but some people have reported it going away after a couple of months. Possibly the computer just "learns" it out.

One of our sponsors sell an EGR tricker so you won't get a light. Check out JPR, they sell them for around 70 bucks I believe..
