Default 5.3 heads that flow better than LS6 Stage 2 heads

I'm looking at 5.3 head over the Cartek LS6 Stage 2 heads. Cartek Stage 2 heads flow 300 and 220 at .585 lift, and the 5.3 heads flow 300 and 270 at .585 lift. But some say the LS6 heads will have more power because of the chamber design, and others say the 5.3 are better because of the flow and will get more power? What do you think?

they both have the funky D shaped exhaust valves i think.. so i would go with the 5.3's the bump in compression will also help.

No truck heads do not have the D exhaust port profile. Also, im guessing you are talking about the TEA 5.3 heads with are flow tested with a stack on the exhaust side... so the numbers will be alot higher.

Get the ls6 heads if you are going with more displacment. Otherwise the 5.3 heads will flow more than you need.
