Default What mates well with a G5X2 in an AUTO

Will be full bolt-ons, G5X2, STOCK heads(for now), TNT 100-150 shot and a decent amount of weight loss.

I will be using a Yank PT4400EXTREME converter.
What gear? Where to shift at?

I am thinking 3.73 shifting at 6600? That's just a guess though.

Def 3:73 gears. I would shift it 200 RPM below your rev limiter. 6600 rev limiter, and 6400 shifts. Go by where the cam us making it's power. You'll find yourself playing with shift points throughout the year, until you find the sweet spot.

Make sure you have a window switch. Many guys with that convertor have found themselves bouncing off the rev limiter when hitting the juics, as the convertor flashes so high when on the spray. If that happens, fuel cuts off, engine leans out severely = blown motor, & you being <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

In addition to the fact that it will save your tranny. See ya at the track. Good luck.

I think a little less stall may work better. Say a PYE 4100 for nitrous use.
Cheers,
Chris

What size slick are you going to run? If you are going 27-28 inch tire get 4.10 gears, if staying 26 inch 3.73s will work great.
