Default Dart heads!

Word around town is that dart will be making heads for the LS-1. Is this old news or new news, have I been in a cave or is this new to you guys and gals too. I seen the little flyer at the local engine building facility while dynoing another 4.3l. I thought it was cool to see yet anaother manufacture making cylinder heads for the LS-1.

Thats good news. More competition means lower prices for all aftermarket heads.

Isn't Eddlebrock teaming up with LPE? That's what I heard on another post in this section.

On the Edelbrock question...Yes and Yes. We are on schedule and looking good. The heads will be on display at SEMA and the Edelbrock / Lingenfelter partnership will produce a nice piece.

Jasonsny -- I'm assuming since they will be at SEMA they will be at PRI? If so I know which booth I'll be headed for first!

I called Dart several days ago and spoke to one of the techs. He couldn't tell me anymore than the small blip in their newletter. He asked me how I knew about their LS1 head and I told him it's printed in their newsletter. You'd think that this subject would get covered in a sales meeting...........

Default new cylinder heads

We are real close to having our new LS head in production. We've been working real hard on the development over the last year. We are 99 percent sure we will debut our new casting at the PRI show in December along with our new Viper head as well. We have a whole new line of manifolds currently in the works for our LS head. It will use a stock style manifold (port location)

I will post some numbers in the near future of our prototype. I was pretty suprised with our results. It will not be a carbon copy of all the other new cylinder heads coming out. I'll throw out some pics and specs real soon.

I was thinking the same thing. A 4.125 bore iron block would be nice as an alternative to sleeves or c$-R block

Default block

I really want to build a block, BAD. We have been looking into what it cost to build tooling, IT COST A LOT. I was hoping Dart would step up and uild one. They make such a nice block. We'll see
