Comp Type "R" lifters
what's everyones opinion on them? I've gotten lots of responses that they are the best... and others that they're ok.....
so what are the advantages of these?
Who wants these lifters?
what are the disadvangates?
I own 1 set of comp Rs and 1 set of Cranes ... tryin to figure which to use by monday
Any special install instructions for the Comp R Lifters?

I'm running the "R"'s. Changed out the stockers on the first head swap. I like 'em. Require a bit less pre-load. Seem to stay on the lobe at high RPM's. Shifting at 6800....No float detected by ear or dyno graph Can't tell if they're any noisier than stock or Crane. My $h!t sounds like a sewing machine on steroids
Don't know anything good/bad about the Crane's....yer call

I've used R's since 00, and they are going into my 7,200 rpm motor. I'm not sure they all that and a bag of chips, but I never had them collapse before and we did take the old motor up to 7400 a few times.

I've used CompR's and stock, and have switched back and forth twice. I can't tell any difference...the CompR's are just cheaper replacements for stock as far as I'm concerned (since I dont have a radical setup) so just go with whatever you want.

Re: Comp Type "R" lifters
I was going to replace my lifter with comp R. I called Thunder Racing to place an order and they told me they are the same as stock and to save my money as they are no different.
