Default Sounds like a sewing machine

Just finished installing Harland Sharp 1.8 rocker arms and Comp 918 valve springs damn thing sounds like my mothers sewing machine, I double checked the torque settings in the rockers before I closed it up. Anyone else experience this.

welcome to LS1's. they will sound like that when you add lift via rocker arms or cam

nope.both cars sounds fine.try using your stock rockers and compare.

some do and some don't. half the ppl in our town with cams or rockers have the sewing machine sound to em

the stock rockers did not make that kind of noise
