Default the right cam.. lobe?

Ive been reading alot of stuff on the LS1 and have a little trouble on this subject, I plan on supercharging my car one day but for the moment NA is what im going for, Im probably going to get Patriot LS6 stage 2 heads and now my next step is picking and understanding Cams, And sorry if this subject has been drivin into the ground and talked about.. But I cant find the answer to question. I love the sound of old muscle cars and they way the cam sounds.. is higher or lower lobe separation going to get me that old school muscle sound outta my LS1.. whats better 114, 112, or 110.. and should I watch out for when getting a cam.. I hear about upgrading stall for my A4 and valvetrain. Will I have major gas problems too?? Im guessing the 110 lobe separation will give me the right sound, but which one will give me all around best performance, low, mid and high range.
