Default Upgrade Injectors?

I just had my first dyno the other day and turned out 309 RWHP and 324 RWTQ. The graph and the run seemed to have some detonation on the top end, and I was wondering if I would benefit from upgrading the injectors? I read that the 99's have smaller injectors and thought it might make a difference.

I attached the graph just in case anyone wants to see it

TIA

IMO at this time NO. 26.4lbs @ 4 bar (99) injectors are good to 400rwhp. Might want to clean them, 1 bottle of Red Line fuel system cleaner should do it.

As for KR, what was your AFR?

The injectors you have are fine for your HP level. But, Texas speed has the 01+ injectors and rails for 60.00. That's cheap and it takes less than an hour to swap.

Just a thought.

You can't swap to different injector without doing some tuning. All you need to do is tune your car with the current injectors.

Thanks for everybody's input, as far as what the AFR was I'm not sure. I'll probably grab a bottle of injector cleaner though.

TSP told me no tuning needed from the 99 to the 01+ injectors. We'll see.

I'd like to know if that's true, I plan to upgrade to the 28# injectors (bought them from Texas Speed) when I do my H/C job....the pulse width will probably need to be changed. I think that with the 28# injectors, the duty cycle will be reduced.

No way the injector pulse is not the same and while you can run them they have to be tuned for efficiency.
When I swapped my 30 SVO ~(36lbs/hr) from stock 28.8, they ran too but had to be tuned to work properly.
