Default What size valves are you using with your 427

I need to know what size valves you are using in your heads. 2.02/1.60, 2.055/1.6. I don't want to use 2.08/1.60 as new seats will have to be installed. I was thinking of 2.055/1.6 valves. That brings me to my next question: What size cams are you running with this motors. Thanks

I've got 2.055 1.60 valves on an iron 422ci. They work ok, but a bigger valve would probably work better. I did 490 something torque with an unlocked converter. Cam is a lunati 242 .595 112 lsa with 4 degrees advance (single pattern). Crazy low rpm power, and speedo picks up about as quick as the tach.

Set your heads up right, you'll be glad in the long run with 2.08's. Look at cams in the 24*-25* duration.

2.10/1.60, if you can afford a 427 then $160 for seats should be no problem.

Wow, those are large valves. Did you having any valve to piston clearance issues? What pistons did you go with? I was more concerned with this problem than the expense of replacing the seats. Thanks.

FWIW, I was told by a reliable sponsor that 2.08's were plenty big for a 427 and running a 2.10 is kinda overkill. But I'm sure Tooley knows what he's talking about as well.
