Reading the site, they say they won't tell what the dimples are for, but come back later and they may spill the beans..... what the hell does that mean?

Are the dimples there to help control spark knock? Anyone?

just a guess,but i think they are supposed to enhance the combustion process by creating more turbulance in the chamber

I would guess that the dimples would be filled with carbon in no time at all so it must be for an application that requires constant rebuilding.

The dimples are there to provide carbon build up and hot spots so you will get predetonation. Probably good idea for a race car and a bad one for a street car.
