Aftermarket cam and low RPM's ?
I have been told that running an engine, under load, is really not good under 2000 RPM's with an cam upgrade.....I'm talking 1500 - 2000 RPM's
Any information pro or con to this ?

Yeah, my car was tuned with my 1st cam, and will be tuned with my new one, but curious if driving down the highway in 6th @ 1700 RPMs is harder on the engine than running 2300 RPM's in 5th gear.
I was once told that driving below 2000 RPMs is not really good for the engine.

Nothing wrong with cruising at 1800 or so rpm here and there. Just as long as you do some WOT here and there too.
A motor that spends most of it's time on light loads and at low rpm are more likely to have bore glazing problems down the track.
