If the base circle of your cam is smaller than 1.400", you'll have oil pressure problems with the Cranes (the cut on the lifter drops below the oil gallery, causing an internal oil leak). I had to switch to the Morel lifters to fix it with my new cam. Morels are nice pieces, and are less expensive than the Comps. The Comps also use a much longer pushrod (7.90"-8.00"), while the Morels use our "standard" length (7.35"-7.40"). I don't have any experience with any of the others mentioned.

Solid lifters
Two more companies make solid lifters for the LS1. Isky makes a drop in replacement, Crower has a new tie bar unit.
The Isky's drop in solids are under $400. I don't have a price yet on the Crower units.
