Default Removing the heads today, need help

Today I told myself that I was going to take off the heads today, well after cursing, bleeding, and throwing things, I finally got "ONE" of them off. To tired to pull the other one off. What I need to know is; what could I do to lube the cylinder walls with, and possibley the top of the piston so I wont get any rust? My neighbor found some mobil one on my self, so I put some on a towel and wiped around the walls with it. Will this be good enough, or not? God I can't wait till this project is finished:no:

I used the Lucas oil stabilzer additive. It is owful gooey but it will stick to the walls goods. But it is a little on the messy side. It works well I never touch the motor again for 6 months and there was no rust at all. Hope this helps.

Just wipe a touch of oil on it if your worried.

I pulled a head off mine today... i put nuttin on it. Just covered it with paper towels.

Now it will be inside away from the elements... right?

If not (it's out side) then yea i could see you wanting to keep rust out.

Good luck.
