Default Spring question related to breakage.

Which factor is more prevalent in spring breakage, High lift or High rpms? Looking at a cam with 600 lift and I plan on kepping the rev limiter at or below 6400...

It really depends on how the spring was designed. I would say the ramp rate are more of a factor than either of those two things.

high lift approached w/a violent ramp rate will be the worst for your springs. rpms kill motors in general.....
