This sounds crazy to me, but what do you think...
My cousin works for GM (electrical engineer) and was asking me about my car a few weeks ago. I told him it was basically stock except LT's, TD's and a lid. He noted that I was probably running lean (I think thats right) and that I should get a tune. I told him I was probably getting a cam eventually and just wanted to wait till then to tune. He understood, and told me if I filled my tank with 9/10 gasoline and 1/10 alcohol it should run better because the alcohol takes longer to burn. He reccomended Everclear. He knows his **** and has raced cars before, so i want to believe him but I just wanted to hear some second opinions.
What do you think?

Even if he is right, booze is expensive. You would have to put 1.6 gallons of Everclear in your tank with each fill up to get that ratio....that would cost about $40 for the booze.
You could have payed for a good computer tune after 12-13 tanks...and with a tune you would have better driveability and power.
I seem to remember Marty McFly trying to burn whiskey in his DeLorean...it didn't go so well.

after i installed my LTs my car was running RICH.although every car is different,i think most cars run rich after LTs are installed.i wouldn't worry about the tune until after you install the cam and run 100% gasoline.
