I've "heard" it was more like 110 lbs. but thats just hearsay.

"Valvegod", who sells and ships both, says there is 107lbs difference, between a LS1 block and a 6.0 block, both with main caps and bolts....

its 93 lbs for just the block alone. with mains and bolts i wouldnt know.

this is a quote from JRP'S FAQ'S
The LS1 block is made of 319 aluminum heat-treated to the T5 standard by the Montupet Corporation of Ontario, Canada. It is cast using the semi-permanent mold technique which Juriga described as "....a cross between die-casting and sand-casting." The case weighs 107 lb. Compared to the Gen III's 210.4 lb. block, that’s a significant weight saving
