Default SDPC timing set with German chain?

Any one running this double roller with the German-born chain on steriods; I ordered mine a month ago and it is just being shipped now?

I suppose I should not have purchased this German chain part since these mutts vetoed the U.S. lead "crush Saddam" movement that was recently discussed in the UN?

Does it need oil pump shims? Any problems; this is a really "cheap" unit compared with others that I have seen? Why is it - like - only $89 bucks when others are $350?

I guess the adjustments are on the crank sprocket (with 7 keyways) and not the cam sprocket- this must be a bitch to dial in, right?

The Rollmaster timing sets contain the folowing:

Timing gears manufactured in Australia by Romac. Rollmaster is the brand name.

Timing chain manufactured in Germany by Iwis Ketten.

BTW, Romac/Rollmaster does not manufacture chain.

Your stock GM chain is manufactured by an English company named Renold.

Yeh OK I agree - Than it is hard to boycott anything from France, Germany or Russia if they are making components that are manufactured in many differnt parts of the world.......

Oh well, at least I won't be buying any French or German wines....

...Is this a quality unit? ...the adjustment feature must be a pain if it is a keyway design off the crank not cam sprocket, right?

Do I need to get oil pump shims or will it fit under the stock oil pump?

...Thanks...
