i did... when i got them they had a really ruff CNC job.... it took a bit of hand porting by myself and SCOTT @ gen3 to get them really nice...

i have about 40 hours in porting, polishing, CC'ing and assembley....

i did the install ALL myself... it was a fun....

im glad i got to do it myself... now if somthing goes wrong i know who did it....
and i know it was done right with no cut corners.

NICE SETUP!!..if i had the money..id do somethign similar.
it wasnt that expencive... just shop around and do the work your self.... its not that hard...

but well worth it!

looks good , and i agree, doing your own work beats paying for it. its also easier doing a h/c swap on an engine stand . what do your heads flow?

mine spec'd out at:

2.02/1.57
224.5 int
83.7 exh
64.7 chamber

Turning your own wrenches is the way to go IMO. Those heads look great nice work!

its a 383 isnt it?

my heads spec'd at....

230 int
89 ex
64 cc = 10.6CR

2.05 1.60 rev valves... i also completly DE_BURRED ALL edges on the head(very important).... then did a good vacum check on all ports and CC (MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL)!!!! because there were 2 intake valves that we had to hand lath to get them to seat perfectly......

i think these heads were for a 383, but they work just fine on my little 346.... 475hp.
