I decided on the F13 but I still have some ?'s
I am going with the F13 cam in a couple months, but I want to know what kind of power band it has, since I am sticking with my stock 3.42's. Right now I am concerned it will dog alittle on the street since I usually shift at 2800 rpms during daily driving. Also, would it be better to have Speed Inc. dyno tune it or do a mail in tune to Allen at Futral?

I just got this cam for xmas, when i called and talked to Futral about that cam they said it would be best to have atleast 3.73's. As for the tune i think Speed Inc. could handle that, a mail order tune is hit or miss. It all depends on your car.hope this helps.

I've been running a 112+2 F13 with stock gears for a while now and I love it. It's not a dog anywhere, but gears certainly wouldn't hurt. As it is, it has excellent street manners. Idles well, cruises on the highway at 1700rpm with no problems, etc.

Ne1 running the F13 114+4? I have one being installed but the car will not be done untill spring (stupid thridgen project) and want to here others opinions that are running it. I heard one of the cam swapper gods here recommend it at one time but I never found a good post on it.

I just put my stock rear back in with 3.42's and it drives fine still. It does surge/buck a little bit more noticeably now versus the 4.11 gears but it's not bad. Still pulls really good and is not lacking power down low at all. My clutch chatters a little now too.
You're better off with at least 3.73's (4.11's are better), but are not 100% necessary with the F13.

I've got the torquer with stock gears and it drives really nice. It would be better with some gears, esp. for the track times, but drivability is still great with the stock gears.
