Default Camshaft Advancing

I've been running my TR Reverse Split cam for about a year now at 0 degrees of advance and I've been thinking about advancing the cam 4 degrees. From what I understand advancing the cam is supposed to increase torque and HP in the lower rpm range. Does anyone know for sure what happens when you advance the cam? in an LS1?

It will more than likely pick up alittle down low but you'll lose the upper rpm range alot.4 degree's is too much on there Cams.

I have the custom reverse split cam 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA. The cam doctor actually ran it to a 110.6 LSA and a 111 centerline. I was reading some of the other posts on here and I think I'm going to leave it at 0. I don't think it's worth the trouble to loose any top end! I'm only below 5000 comming out of first gear anyway.
