anything bigger than 427?
I was thinking you could probably build a 6.0L stroker into something bigger than a 427, maybe? 441ci, 4.125bore and 4.125 crank. probably a 6" rod, I don't know if you could make a piston for a 4.125 stroke and 6.125 rod, but then would the rod angularity(sp) be off? plus, no rpm on that motor the piston speed would be WOW,but 5500-6000 torque pig! anyways I didn't get into it that deep, but figured someone out there was trying it?maybe...

I've been thinking that the larger cubed motors are limited in their high-RPM performance anyway by the hydraulic valvetrain, so there's no point spinning 'em that high unless you go solid.
For those who want to go big CI and stay hydraulic, big strokes and not so big RPM's may be the way to go. So far not too many are doing this, so we'll see.

6.0 block I would say is limited to a 408 cid for reliability and stability. You can go a 427 but I think that is about max. and with the stroke you need for a 427 iron you are gonna get some jacked up rod angles.

The 6.0 can be bored and stroked to 7.0 427 but that is about all i would push it to. Best bet would be to resleve your ls1 so you could go bigger. With the iron block when it is bored that much you are running on a thin piece of metal in the jugges.
