Default head studs? where to buy?

i just checked on prices for LS1 head studs, ARP. anyone know of another manufacturer of them? or another place to buy them besides ARP?
or does ARP monopolize that market?
$236. for non-gold plated ones is kinda high i think.

I'm sure there's plenty of crappy hardware you can get, but if you want high quality 180K psi or better hardware, ARP is pretty much the only place to get it. Considering studs must be custom built for our engines, have a limited customer base, and aren't replaced very often, I think we're fortunate to be able to get them at all.

Compare the cost of aircraft grade hardware at Aircraft Spruce, and read what Carroll Smith thinks about quality hardware, and I'm sure you'll think differently about how you value quality hardware. If you don't care for studs, the head bolts are relatively cheap, but cannot be reused like studs can and do not make head installation easier.

There's lots of places you can get ARP hardware, but I know know Nate @ Nasty Performance sells them. He's a sponsor over there -->
