uniform valvetrain?
Has anyone out there compared the weight of stock valves, pushrods, pistons, and reciprocating parts? I'm wondering if my LS1 would benefit from a little blueprinting. Years ago, tolerances on new stock parts, even high performance parts, required some alteration to make them match.
Does modern day machining preclude the necessity of blueprinting? Thanks.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I think because of the accuracy of today's technology that they are all pretty much close to tolerance. I don't think that would matter until your looking for super reliability and a fraction of a flywheel HP.
