Default Question about AFR heads and non-AFR valve springs (PP, PRC, Comp)

On AFRs website, it says the spring pocket is 1.450" O.D., but the spring is only 1.290” O.D. It uses a spring cup (like the Comps, Patriot, and PRCs do I believe). My question is this, can I simply replace the AFR springs with one of the "kits" from PRC or Comp and be good? Do the other kits (Patriot, Comp, PRC, etc) also have a cup that "centers" the spring in the larger opening?

Thanks, Shawn

If I'm not mistaken, the AFR's come with the Patriot springs. I believe that is who they contracted to provide them with springs. Hence the 1.290 OD. To answer the other question, yes, the other kits do come with a centering spring cup on the bottom.

Why are they only rated to .600 lift? Aren't PP duals rated to .650?
