Default Best engine bearings?

Thats the question, i need to order some. I ordered some federals for the first rebuild and the engine builder said he wasnt going to put them in because they werent manufactured correctly, or at least that batch. (dont knw what he put in curently). Well i want to go through the motor again and put some new ones in in case a hurt any. Oil pump went out, i caught it in time but im not going to take any chances. What are your reccomendations, i have a forged and blueprinted block with a stock crank
