Default MTI X1 Cam Impressions...

HOLY COW BATMAN!!! This is one awsome cam...idles soooo nice but definatly let's people know not to f*ck w/you...

On my Stage II heads that car pulls like a F16 being catapulted off a carrier. I know the limits of Drag Radials now and this cam definatly exceeds them.

I want to give Props to MTI..Jayson is one stand up guy..got right to my car today to tweak the tuning chatted w/me and even complimented the sound.

I'm definatly happy w/this cam...I'd give dyno numbers but they were having a dyno day and I didn't feel like waiting.

Jayson and crew are the best. I know <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> what you mean. This cam pulls really hard from about 3800 to 6400rpms. I couldn`t believe how she runs. I have no fears running a 6sp from a roll. I even hook better that way! Great, get those dyno numbers on motor and on spray!

Are there any worries about Piston/valve crearance issues with this cam? I am having one hell of a time choosing a cam for my ride, to match my JPR S2 heads. So far I am leaning to the TR 227/224 cam, but am keeping an open mind for anything that might out perform it.
