Default Mopar gaskets...

Summit racing has a teard down gasket kit, which includes head gasket, valve, etc. for $50.00. Anyone know if these gaskets are any good for a heads/cam buildup?

Umm, is this some really well kept secret that mopar engines and LS1's share the same geometry as far as bores, bore spacing, bolt patterns, coolant passeges, etc? I wouldnt think that anything would line up. Unless im missing some happy coincidence here, no F'ing way!

Mopar makes dodge stuff, not ls1 stuff. Is there a link you have to the specific product in mind?

I'm dumb guys. I was looking in the summit racing catalog under tip/ls1, and switched to next page, and that page IS mopar. I was thinking mopar was name of co. I'm sorry to have wasted your time.

If you look at the Hemi the block almost identical to an LS1. I used to work at a Dodge dealer and the other day I stopped back in there and I swore they had an LS1 block on the floor.

Man, I'm gonna have to save some of these. They are better than the FORD and Chevy ones...

Anyhow, Take an LS1 head and put in on a Ford Windsor block sometime... Spooky ain't it... I've never checked any of the Mopar stuff.
