Rocker arm upgrade worth it??

Rocker arm upgrade worth it??
I am toying with the idea of upgrading my rocker arms when my engine is finally complete this week or next. I am looking at the Yella Terra's and the Jessel's. Anyone have experience with these? I am building a forged 347cid motor with Tea heads and a big cam >.600 lift. Any thoughts?

Re: Rocker arm upgrade worth it??
I just bought the Yella Terras for my new 383 motor. I figured after all the money I spent on a stroker, who wants a stock rocker failure with all those needle bearings floating around in my new motor!Especially since I plan on reving 6800 rpms. Another $500 for a rocker upgrade was worthwhile insurance.

Has anyone verified these claims? How high can you spin these arms?

Phil,
Do a search and look for a post by YELLA TERRA.I saw it here, on the board, within the past 30-40 days. It gives an explanation, backed by their research , for the deflection rumors.I believe the original post was from last Dec. or Jan.
New motor sure sounds interesting keep us updated Good Luck!

Re: Rocker arm upgrade worth it??
Phil,
I looked at them, but I don't need them ( For my setup max RPM <7000)- so I don't have them. Everything I've read, here and at vette sites, says they're the best buy for the stud mount rockers. High lift solid and high RPM -I guess shaft mount is the way to go.Maybe someone using them will help us out here?
