Default Front Seal?

well, i'm putting her back together, and i dont have a new front seal. am i going to regret not getting one?

I didn't use one and it seemed to be OK. If you have the chance it is best to install one but if you can't get one in time definately make sure there are no rips or tears or else you will have no choice.

Woops, thought you were talking about the front gasket. I definately would get a new front seal.

i installed it along with the old ud pully, using the stock bolt

but once TSP gets my new ud pully to me i'll take everything off and replace it

Well you'll have to drain the raditor, pull it and the water pump. That sucks. I had to wait for parts too and just waited. Must be anxious to fire it up, LOL.

Almost all the seals are reusable in the ls1. Water pump,front and rear gasket. Front and rear crank o ring seal. If there are any tears or rips it is shot.

Just an FYI i reused my crank bolt. Had it in there 8 mouths. Not a bigg deal just remember to check it every week. Mine never backed off.
