Default I Need Help! Installing Hs 1.8 Roller Rockers

I Have A 04 Chevy P/u 6.0 Lq9 Block W/317 Heads Stock Springs Stock Cam.
I Switch To Shorter Pushrods 7.350 But Still It Does Not Want To Run?. How Can I Check The Preload?. I Had A Guy Do It @ An Ls1 Shop. He Just Put Them On And Torqued Down?. Is This Right?. I Need Help.
Thanks

Why did you switch to shorter p-rods??
Put the stock ones back in and torq the rockers to 22lbs/ft. that is it.
If the stock ones are bent or something just by new stockers from the dealership.
7.35 on a stock cam are .03 too short, so you'll have a very noisy valve train and improper preload.
