Default TR 224 Cam, what parts to go with?

Ok i've read a lot of mixed answers as to what setups to run with this cam so i want some more opinions. I will be installing a TR 224/224 112 lsa cam soon and i'm not quite sure if i should just go with Comp 918's or go ahead and get the PRC or Patriot Dual SPrings kit? I'm planning on getting an LS6 oil pump and LS2 chain. Are hardened pushrods a must? Any other recommendations? I just want ur opinion on what setup i should run with this particular cam

BTW: THe car is a 98 Camaro Z28 with 50k miles

I run 918's with no problems what so ever, I am going to be upgrading to the PRC springs so I can put in a different cam without having to keep changing springs. I think 918's will work fine with your cam.

See what is included in the TR cam kits...those are the parts you should be using.

918 springs
7.400" hardened pushrods
you can also think about titanium retainers

Being a '98 the oil pump is a good thing.

Same cam here, I went with the 918's, ti rets, & 7.4 hardened push rods. I am very pleased with my setup.

You can get all those parts as a kit from Thunder. I would recommend the titanium retainers as well. I used the 918 springs in mine for quite a while and had no problems, they are perfect for that cam.
