I believe it is about 10.28 with the stock gasket.

Default CR Info....

Guys...

AFR 205 66 cc
Stock LS1 head 67 cc (AFR SLIGHTLY raises CR)
Stock LS6 head 65 cc (AFR SLIGHTLY lowers CR)

I think "Lady Redhawk's" calculation is spot on with a stock GM head gasket.

Thanks,
Tony M.

How far are you able to flat mill or angle mill the AFR castings down to?

I talked to a member of the AFR sales staff and he said that AFR wouldn't mill them past 60 CC's. Was just hoping to get your input.

Floyd.

AFR offers milling as an option (they also offer hollow stem valves and 921 springs). They recommend 59cc heads with a 347 for 11:1.

that was a copy and paste from thunder racing's website (www.thunderracing.com) but you can find it for that price also at speed inc (www.ls1speed.com) or texas speed (www.texas-speed.com) ... but you'll get the best deal from texas speed since they sell it for the same price and have free shipping ... here's a direct link, http://www.texas-speed.com/item_deta...ProductID=1257
