Just finished cam install!
Wasn't bad to do at all the hardest part was changing the springs.
This what i did please don't bash my cam choice i did research and this fits my needs.Like they say different strokes for different folks.
GM Hot Cam
Comp 918's
LS6 oil pump
Cloyes single chain & GM gears
Thunder hardend pushrods 7.400
Every thing went pretty smooth followed LS1 Howto followed the steps. My only problem was that i ended up having the bolt from the spring compressor break off in my head on #7 exhaust.Thank God my fathers a welder and he ended up welding a nut to the top of the broken bolt and then i just backed it out with a wrench. So if anyone uses this style spring compressor be very careful.Other than that i had no problems finished every thing up put the key in fired it up and it idle by it its self right away runs good the tach stays right around 750rpm and it sounds mean.Haven't got a chance to drive it do to the 2feet of snow.Anyway i am excited and it was a great learning expierence.
