Besides about 50.00 difference , is the SLP part better than the LS6 ported one? I'm concerned about keeping the engine alive and the pump not failing. I'm wanting this for everday driving with stock internals and a fairly mild cam.And yes , I did do a search on this subject.

slp just uses the same **** as everybody else but tacks on a 40% price hike because it's slp. just pick up pump cheaper from one of the other sponsors. i got mine along with my rollmaster double from TSP.

Stock LS6 oil pump it was $50 and is what I'm using.

I also have the TSP LS6 ported pump. My pressure is about 5-10 more psi than it was before.

Anyoen have any instructions on how to port and shim an ls6 oil pump?

I am running a TR and i just fired it up and i got 20more psi than my 40psi i had. It will go down because the car was only idling and it was a brand new motor so the grease has to work its way out. I exspect to see 55 at idle and 65-70 at WOT.
