Default f13 choppy ?

Ok I think I am set on the f13 and want to know if the car is aggressive and choppy. I've read that some one/people have wished it was more lopier/choppier (sorry for spelling). If it is not as choppy, is there anything that can be done to the cam as far as spec wise to make the cam more choppy w/o loosing the powerband or #'s being produce that it has. Something like the lope of a t-rex, ms3, or g5x3 w/o shifting past 6500. Want to keep it in the fms cause of their proven cams in members rides or tsp cause of their respected customer service. Should I just call both company's and ask them to custom grind me a cam? Sorry for the long post thanks for any help.

If you want the F13 to lope, get Allan to grind it on a 111 or 110 LSA. Then it'll lope its *** off.

nothing will make it lope like a trex without making it not a f13 anymore lol...

the 233/233 and 233/239 tsp cams sound nasty as well... the f13 really doesn't lope much at all, the f14 clip i heard did sound great.

i have an f13 on a 114 lsa. after tuning (mediocre tune done by me) it idles/runs very smooth. you can tell its not stock, but it is nothing like those other choppier cams. i love it

Ive been hearing 112lsa will give you more of a rough idle, but Im fairly new on this site. Try listening to the sounds site that will give u some comparison.

Do what JRP said-drop the idle down to 700 rpm-it will plenty lopey-it will probably stink like raw fuel too!

Ok so dropping the idle down will that doing anything performance wise. Also, if you put the lsa lower like 111 110 is that going to affect the powerband or power under the curve or just the way it sounds at idle. I also have stock heads so will that kind of lsa fit.

I actually think it would be a really good cam on a 111. Your powerband will move down, so you're not peak rpm isn't as high, which seems like it would be better for the street. It will also make your idle nastier, although i don't know how much more lope you want than what you see in that F14 vid. Your F13 will idle identically to that, there is only a 2 degree duration difference in the cams and you would never hear that in idle. As far as it fitting, I'd call Allan and ask. I'm sure he's sold a few like that before, he would know if it'll fit. Let us know what you choose.
