you are probably referring to my clip on ls1sounds.com, untuned f13 on a 114 lsa (http://www.ls1sounds.com/true_duals/...13cam_turo.WMV ). i do my own tuning so my tune is by no means perfect, but the car is definitely much smoother now (less choppy idle). it doesn;t sound as nice, but it also doesn't want to die everytime i stop like it did when i was stock. if i get access to a camera, ill take another vid of it. maybe someone has one of a tuned one on a 112 lsa

Yeah that would be cool Turo, yeah your car sounded real choppy to me. I am planning on buying an FM13 and I had hoped it was a lot smoother than what I heard in your clip. I know some people think it sounds cool like that, but to me it sounds sloppy and I personally prefer a little smoother idle. Needless to say, I was glad to hear it smoothed out a lot after tuning...

Ever dyno your car?

not yet, my clutch is starting to slip so i'm waiting to do a clutch swap and a fuel pump (for the nitrous) before i put it up on the dyno.

it has a bit of bucking when i drive around 15 mph or less (inside my neighborhood). cruising in the highway in 6th gear is no problem at all. around town it feels great also. i think it would really benefit from some 4.10 gears though, the 3.42's are not bad, but a lower gear would be nicer. overall i am very happy with it

I had my untuned linked up a week or so ago. I am stepping out right now and will get a tuned idle clip.

How does the 114+4 work? Is it a better idle but the power is higher in the powerband compared to the 112lsa or??

The +4 gives you a lower powerband.

Well I was looking into buying a FM13 with the following specs:

Futural Motorsports # FM-F13-14 SPECS 230/232 114+4
595"/.585"
IN/EX Duration 229.8/232.2
LOBE SEPERATION 113.9
INTAKE CENTERLINE 109.5

Now I also planned on getting some heads along the lines of PP or AS stage 2 5.3 heads.

Any problems with that cam and the usualy stage 2 5.3 or LS6 type heads?? Any problems with running regular super unleaded 93 octane, or any fyluctting involved etc etc??

What I am looking for is a good idle, but I also don't want the bottom end to be non -existent either
