you should go bigger! i started with a wimpy cam like that, then added a BIG cam. my car drives the same and sounds near the same as with the wimpy cam. think about going bigger,g5x1 or g5x2. JERMZZ is trying to tell ya the same bro.

I'm full bolt on you guys...

Vararam, LS6 intake, LG longtube headers no cats, Vig 3200..
FLP Level IV, dyno tuned by Bryan Herter & Dale Cherry..

I'm just looking to run .2-.3 quicker.. Take advantage of the 11.50 mark..

No roll bar in my car..Kinda don't want to put one in...

The TR 224 should do the trick!!

Best ET in 55 degrees is 11.78..

Yeah but what about the drivabilty of that bigger cam? And will that bigger cam pass emissions?

Drivability is subjective, but IMO not that bad with a good tune. As far as passing emissions, it depends on whether they do an OBD2 test or tail sniffer. A 224 cam on 114 LSA will pass the sniffer, but any bigger may not. They all will pass OBD2.

That's what happened to me. I got 1.5 years out of my TR224 before I wanted a bigger one. Might want to get a bigger one than you think you need now so you only have to buy one cam.

You may be disappointed. It may be more than .3 seconds difference.

MORE than .3???? haha! Well, on the dyno I gained 20 RWHP & about 30 TQ under the curve, so I'm not sure it that will equate to more than .1-.2 in ET...

If I get more than .3 compared to my weather station ET database, I will be most amazed...

I have also now switched to the MT ET Drag radials from BFG drag radials, so that may be another .05 in ET... I will take that into consideration, & post results as soon as I can get to the track...
