5.3 heads for a daily driver. I am looking to use a set of 5.3 heads on My 02 m6 SS.
The car is internally stock. I am on a budget as well.
Is there much of a benefit of using these heads with a LS1 hotcam, LS6 spring, with only a larger intake valve. What kind of headwork should I do before installing a potentially used set of 5.3's and what are the limits of what can be done, while maintainging proper valve clearance.
What kind of power am I looking at with this setup, hp and tq. Compression ratio.
I know I need to be educated here. I am looking to do this swap by the end of the summer. I just want to get started so I still have enough time to do it.
