I had my TR224 cam and 918 comp springs installed last week. Are the springs louder that other 918s or duals, or are they normal. You can hear it over the kooks headers and GHL exhaust at idle

I have the same setup and mine are a little bit noisy around 2200 - 3000 RPM . Kinda like a sewing machine sound . I couldn't hear it at all in that clip . Maybe post a clip from under the hood .

You can hear them in the background, but I don't think it is out of the norm. You never get used to it either which sux, but you get used to the power.

Pretty much the same setup and have some increased noise, although I couldn't pick it up on the vid.. Just the nature of the beast.

Get TSP true duals & say bye bye to any sound other than exhaust. I can't hear my 918's but I can feel the exhaust sound in my chest when I fire her up in the shop. Seriously I haven't noticed any sound from my engine valvetrain & I have 918's with the tr224-112

if you get around the exhaust, you can hear the springs. The camera is about 4 feet behind the car. I should than a video closer, but im just trying to get a feel if the noise is normal
