Limits on stock bottom end ls-1??? Am buying my car next week, and until I have the time and $$$ to build my 427 nitrous motor I am going to work on the suspension, trans and change the rearend out. However I am going to play with the stock engine a bit. Probably put some ported ls6 heads on it, change cams, put an ls6 intake (they are cheap on e-bay), probably going to put the exhaust on for my final engine, 1 7/8-2" steep kooks headers with 3" true duals and high flow cats. Possibly going to add a 100-150 shot, and change injectors as well.
How much abuse can the bottom end handle before I am exceeding the limits? How much nitrous are you guys getting them to handle, what type of rpm's? Any info would be helpful. Thanks guys.
