Default Tuning and cam?? Please Help!!!

Hey guys I am very new to the GM side of things so please bare with me. I am looking to put a cam in my stock 02 WS6 M6, but I am not sure about a lot of things. First- am I going to need a tune after the install??? Second- I want a cam that sounds bad *** but keeping but keeping the driveability good. (This is my daily driver.) I will also be putting on an SLP y-pipe and loudmouth cat-back, and slp lid. With all three mods I was hoping to achieve high 300's rwhp. What kind of cam should I go with keeping the other questions in mind. I also was looking at Comp Cams onThunder Racing.com and they said due to the high ramp rate it's not recomended to use the stock 1.8 rockers. What do you think about this??? And finally does gas milage change a whole lot with a cam swap??
Thanks guys I really appreciate it!!
Ryan

first off, stock ratio is 1.7. mileage, or lack thereof, is directly related to throttle position. have an 04 C5 A4 with donaldson, crane billet double roller chain, crane 1.8 accelerated rockers, crane dual spring kit, VHP Boss II cam and PP ls6 style 2.055 heads. dynatech ss header kit, and magnaflow exhaust. car pulls hard from 2000-6200. prior to h/c swap dynoed 351rwhp/360ft#tq with VHP tuner. idles @650 guess near 400rwhp, will confirm soon

dyno results were with headers, prior to h/c swap. only had 1700 miles on car, did not want to do too much, too fast.lol
