Default quick question about gm head gasket

I've got a set of '02 LS6 heads going on my '99 LS1. SDPC lists two different gaskets. One for 97-01 LS1/LS6s and one for '02 and up LS1/LS6s. Part numbers are 12498543 and 12498544 respectively.

Now which one would I use?

You can use the '02+ MLS gaskets. Some of the earlier heads on the 97-98 cars have a notch on them, which require a gasket with a matching notch. The later 241 castings don't have the notch, thus you will be fine with the '02+ gaskets. If you do a search, I remember someone in a thread posted pics of said notch.
