My car is currently less heads, cam, and intake. I'm going to pull the shortblock, how many wires are there left? All I can see from the top are the knock sensor wires and the oil pressure sender. I know the starter and alternator will have wires, as well as the oil pan plug in (sending unit). Anything else? I'm thinking theres not alot of wires left....

There are some ground wires on the block and the crank position sensor. Other than that, there isn't much.
