Default Is the T-Rex cam Driveable untuned?

Hell yeah it is....Under 2500 it is a little tempermental, but other then that I have no cam surge and have no problem with idle. althought I can not get it to idle under 1500 and if I do I will not idle on its own. i am getting tuned on Friday

maybe just a little. It took about two times of driving the car and it drives pretty much like stock. But runs deadly rich

is subjective. i had a tr230 which is way smaller then the trex and i wouldnt call it "like stock" by any means.

your gears are helping you out as well..

Don't drive it too long untuned... I drove my 231/237 cam untuned for almost two weeks and it cooked my o2 sensors and fouled up my plugs. After you get it tuned, check both those things and make sure they're still working fine...

Oh being tempermental under 2500 rpms and idling at 1500 rpms is definitely NOT the definition of "untuned streetable".

i fouled mine up in a week

i just find it funny "i installed a cam with 44* more intake and 38* exhaust duration, 59* more overlap @ .050 and it drives like stock with stock tune"

BuckeyeRoc's car on it's stock tune w/ 3.42's seems no worse off than my untuned tr224 car. Besides having to keep the R's up a lil I am amazed at how well his car runs, idles, and is just generally daily driveable. With what I have read on hear about other people's experiences with the TREX I thought for sure Buckeyeroc was going to have his hands full with this thing. Guess not, must have something to do with that guy who helped with the install, He must have the magic touch or something
