How many grams does a stock LS1/LS6 piston weigh?

Forged pistons are heavier if they're the same shape and size, but since they're stronger, it can be made stronger, and machining can take out unnecessary metal that casting can't leave out....for example, what molding metal, you have to leave a 1-3 degree draft to get the part out of the mold.

Piston I can put this puppy to rest. Stock piston weigh in at 434 grams GM PN 12575633. My new Mahle forged pistons at 382 grams. That is a savings for the forged set of pistons of 14.86 ozs.
