Default TR224 .563/.563 112 - yes I'm a lazy a**

TR224 .563/.563 112 - yes I'm a lazy a** and I like asking...So I think it would be a good choice in a daily driven car.
Soon the tax return is back... but I need some help to decide.
I want a cam with that choppy idle couse they sound just awsome.

My car is a daily driver.
Stock 10 bolt rear end with 3.42 (M6) I know, I know 9" will come when the 10 bolt goes...
Nitto 555 street radials
I know I'll need a new tune too, RWTD will take care of it.
My current mods:
SLP LT's, ORY, SLP lid, Random Tech 3" catback, Cutout, 160 Tstat, Thunder Racing Ported TB, Pro 5.0, Lou's SS, Spec Stage 3, Hotchkis sway bar, Nitto 555, Predator custom tune

This is what left inside the engine after the TR230/224/111 was removed.(by the previous owner)
Crane Dual Rev Springs
Thunder Racing Chromoly Pushrods
Titaium Retainers
Titanium Stems
Titanium Seats

Currently I'm eyeballing the Hotcam, and theTR224 .563/.563 112 but I'm sure that many more options out there so somebody please point me to the right direction.
I also want to be able to pass a smog test.
And what's up with changing the valvesprings "every other day?" Nor the mood nor the knowledge here.

Not a bad choice. Wouldn't be my first choice the smog test depends if it is a sniffer or a computer a computer test it really doesn't matter James will hook you up. If you don't care about lope I'd go bigger but that is just me. I'd do something like an F11 from futural. Something in the 220-230 range with that vavletrain you should be fine. Although I don't know what titanium stems and seats are???

If it is a sniffer than that cam is as good as any that can still pass emissions but your going to need some cats too.

Normally I don't harp about the search function but this cam has been talked about EXTENSIVELY and nothing about your setup is atypical to anyone else with this set up so get off your *** and go to search it would have been easier then typing out your question.

But questions and info is what this forum is for but there is alot that has been said that won't be said again on this topic.

Sounds like a nice car you need to get pics. Silver is my third favorite WS6 color

Sorry JRP is right if it has to pass a sniffer get it on the 114 it should squeeze through if you have cats and the rest of your emission crap.

Also he has some great links to the topic you are asking for in his sig!!

from everything I've read the cam wil not pass california emissions unless it is on the 114 lsa, otherwise there is to much overlap. Of course that is cali, and maybe the nevada testing is easier.
