High Idle?

I just recently bought a 99 SS M6 and the tach shows the car is idling at about 1,100 rpm, and that seems high to me, maybe not though, any ideas? thanks

Sounds a little high to me if it's all OEM. I think the stock programming is around 750-800 rpm.

If it's not in the tuning,you probably have a vaccum leak or a bad IAC motor.I would check there first.If you know someone with an evaporative system smoke machine it makes finding a vaccum leak very easy.
